Calling for Release of the Afghan Christian
The Muslim Women's League joins with the Muslim
Public Affairs Council in calling for the release of
the Afghan Christian convert recently on trial for
apostasy (see
statement). We follow the Qur'anic mandate that
"there is no compulsion in religion" and hope that
this case will be resolved justly, as required by
Islam. |
