Burning of Churches in Nigeria
The Muslim Women's League condemns
the burning of churches in Nigeria. The destruction of any place
of worship is an act of abomination and against the teachings of Islam.
In the Quran, God reveals: "And who
does greater evil than one who bars God's places of worship (from being
used in) invoking His name, and strives for their ruin? Such men should
never enter them, save fear (of God): for them is disgrace in this
world's life, and in the life to come a formidable suffering in store."
