Afternoon Tea & Garden Party
The MWL's recent Tea and Garden Party was a huge success. About 150 women
attended the event and enjoyed a delicious buffet,
the feisty and fresh stand up comedy of Tissa Hami,
a jewelry/ethnic boutique and a silent auction. The
MWL also awarded its inaugural Activist Awards to
Edina Lekovic, Sireen Sawaf, and Suhad Obeidi for
their activism. In addition, Jane El-Farra received
a special award for her years of contribution to
